Progress

You may have noticed the new display cabinets are in place in the main entrance.  We are hoping to fill these with Club Memorabillia.  We have nearly filled one of these with items that we held in the Club.  If anyone has any items which they think may be of interest plases contact Jane Cuthill in the Office.  We intend to catalogue all items noting the owner so that they can be returned whenever requested.  The sort of things we are looking for are :

• Scorecards, fixture cards, dinner menus etc., 
• Centenary items such as the bottles of wine, whisky, glasses, neck scarves, paperweights
• Membership discs/bag tags, lapel badges
• Photos, booklets. 

The dining room has been redecorated and we have new curtains which were made up by Julie McDowall (who works in the Bar).  We hope to put some blown-up old black and white photos of the Club/Course on canvases and hang them in the dining room.  This is underway.

The planters which were at the front entrance have been moved to the other side of the building and have been replanted.

Some additional visitor lockers are on order (we currently only have 6) which will be fitted in the refurbished gents locker room.
