ABERDOUR GOLF CLUB MIXED FOURSOMES OPEN TOURNAMENT

Entry Fee: £12.00 per couple

Conditions of Competition
1. The Competition will be over ONE Medal Round played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and Local Rules as applicable to Aberdour Golf Club.
2. The Competition will be open to Amateur golfers. Ladies must be LGU Members and Gentlemen Members of recognised Clubs. Entries will be limited and processed in the order received.
3. Entries on an official Entry Form with Entry Fee of £12.00 per couple must be in the hands of the Match Secretary, Aberdour Golf Club no later than Saturday 5 July 2008 accompanied by Ladies LGU Handicap and Gentlemen’s National Handicap certified by the Secretary of the Club from which he / she has entered. Partnerships will play off one-half the combined handicap. Gentlemen’s Handicaps will be subject to a maximum of 22, Ladies a maximum of 33. Late entries will be accepted only to fill in for cancellations.
4. Gentlemen will play off the first tee.
5. Play will commence at 8.00 am. Partnerships are asked to indicate their preferred starting times and every effort will be made to accommodate them but, in the event of duplication, times will be allocated in the order in which the entries are received. Starting times will be published in the local press and can also be obtained by phoning 01383 860256. Competitors withdrawing after Friday 11 July 2008 will forfeit their entry fee. Entry fees are not transferable.
6. The Partnership returning the lowest Net Score will be awarded the Robert Pearston Trophy for one year. The Partnership returning the best Scratch score will be awarded the Cullaloe Trophy. The Trophies will be retained by Aberdour Golf Club. No partnership can win more than one prize.
7. In the event of a tie for winning places, winners will be decided on the basis of a countback.
8. The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject any entry or alter or amend any condition and its decision in all disputes will be final.
9. Snacks, lunches and teas will be available at the Clubhouse.
