Aberdour Open Evenings

We are delighted to invite all existing, new and potential members to a series of open evenings this year. If you are an existing member then you will be able to bring along a potential new member free of charge and if you are a non member you will be able to attend free of charge.

We will be playing 11 holes (format to be decided) followed by a light bite and an open forum where you can ask any questions you may have regarding joining the club or that you may have about the club.

Registration will be from 1800 and golf will commence at 18.30.

Pre-registration through the Pro-Shop is essential as places are limited- 01383860256 Option 1.

The only conditions are that non members must supply us with their telephone and email details.

Open evening dates-

Friday the 24th of April.

Friday the 8th of May.

Tuesday the 26th of May.

Friday the 12th of June.

Tuesday the 23rd of June.

All levels of player are welcome and we look forward to meeting you.

Aberdour Golf Club in Fife was voted the fourth best golfing experience in Scotland by the readers of Bunkered magazine. This private members golf course has breathtaking vistas looking over the River Forth across to Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat. The fantastic facilities include the Riverview Lounge(with panoramic views) and a host of other features for members, golf outings and casual visitors. Included in these facilities are changing rooms, showers(towels not provided), practice nets, putting green, fully stocked pro-shop, club hire, push trolley hire, electric trolley hire, buggy hire, Golf lessons and custom fitting.

This beautiful 18 hole parkland golf course, established in 1896, has hosted the Scottish Under 14's Championship, the LGU Ladies Coronation Foursomes Area Final, the Roselle Pro-Am, Barnardo's Scotland Charity Golf Days and a host of other large corporate and charity events. The golf course is situated 45 minutes from St Andrews, half an hour from Edinburgh Airport, 50 minutes from Glasgow and has its own bus and rail link to all these destinations.

Aberdour Fundraiser For Prostate Scotland

On 25 March Aberdour Golf Club presented Adam Gaines, Director of Prostate Scotland, with a cheque for £840 towards Prostate Scotland’s Blue Horizon Appeal. The Appeal is aimed at bringing robotically assisted prostate cancer surgery equipment to Scotland. The funds were raised by members through Coffee Morning Raffles, silent auctions and individual donations. The fund-raising was recognised in an Indigo Blue Certificate being presented to the Golf Club.  You can find out more information about the work of Prostate Scotland and their Blue Horizon appeal, including how to donate, by going to the Prostate Scotland website
