Aberdour Golf Club in Fife was voted the fourth best golfing experience in Scotland by the readers of Bunkered magazine. This private members golf course has breathtaking vistas looking over the River Forth across to Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat. The fantastic facilities include the Riverview Lounge (with panoramic views) and a host of other features for members, golf outings and casual visitors. Included in these facilities are changing rooms, showers (towels not provided), practice nets, putting green, fully stocked pro-shop, club hire, push trolley hire, electric trolley hire, buggy hire, golf lessons and custom fitting.
This beautiful 18 hole parkland golf course, established in 1896, has hosted the Scottish Under 14’s and Under 16’s Championships, the LGU Ladies Coronation Foursomes Area Final, the Roselle Pro-Am, Barnardo’s Scotland Charity Golf Days and a host of other large corporate and charity events. The golf course is situated 45 minutes from St Andrews, half an hour from Edinburgh Airport, 50 minutes from Glasgow and has its own bus and rail link to all these destinations.
