Visitors are always welcome to Aberdour Golf Club
The village of Aberdour is situated on the north shore of the river Forth just six miles southeast of Dunfermline in the delightful region of Fife. Aberdour lies some 30 miles southwest of St. Andrews, known throughout the world as the ‘Home of Golf’ and where the origins and rules of the game of golf were developed. From a golfing perspective St. Andrews may arguably be the golfing centerpiece for golf in the Kingdom of Fife but throughout the Kingdom there are a number of golfing ‘Jewels in the Crown’. One of these is Aberdour where you can enjoy golf with spectacular views.
Before Your Play – GPS Devices
Aberdour Golf Club permanently rerouted the golf course in 2020 to allow for a more enjoyable experience for all golfers. Unfortunately, this means that if using a GPS device, it may be out of date and incorrect when you turn up to play. To avoid this happening, please make sure you have updated your device before arriving.
Important Access Information
Access to the Golf Club is along a residential street with on-street parking. It is not suitable for large coaches. Parties are advised to use smaller 16 seater buses with trailer boxes, if needed.
If travelling by large coach it is suggested golfers and equipment are dropped off at the station car park and walk to the golf club. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Golf Club. Shorter than the time it can take a coach to negotiate the turn into the Golf Club if the manoeuver is possible. Often it’s not!
