50/50 CLUB
JOINING
The 50/50 Club is simple to join and every participant gets the chance to win in the monthly draw. Members must be over 18 years old to join and must pay by standing order. All you need to do is decide HOW MANY NUMBERS YOU WANT, complete your details on the application form and also :-
Please set up your monthly STANDING ORDER to the 50/50 club using your own Banks online banking facility (50/50 club account details are on the application form).
If you do NOT have access to online banking please advise us by Email (link below) and we can assist in making alternative arrangements to set up a Monthly S.O. for you.
The entry tickets are £5 per number per month. The club will pay out 50% of each month’s subscriptions as prize money to 3 monthly winners as follows :-
1st Prize —– 40% of prize subscriptions
2nd Prize —– 30% of prize subscriptions
3rd Prize —– 20% of prize subscriptions
Plus 10% of the monthly prize subscription will be rolled over into a special 6 monthly BONUS DRAW in which current numbers will participate.
The larger the membership the larger the prize fund and the larger the pot for enhancing clubhouse facilities.
EVERYONE CAN JOIN :- Golf Club Members, House Members, Friends, Family, Work Colleagues. ANYONE
Please note that monthly subscriptions must be received before the draw otherwise your number(s) won’t be included – so we have made the date of the standing order payments on the 20th of each month.
The application form can be requested by Emailing us (link below) please advise if you wish to receive it in PDF or Word format for printing yourself.
Hard copy application forms are also available in the Ladies and Gents Locker rooms and main lounge W.C.’s on the new 50/50 noticeboards.

HISTORY
Set up with the purpose of raising money to fund clubhouse improvements in 2010. With between 80 and 120 members contributing £5 or more per month over the last 15 years we have managed to make improvements such as:-
* New furniture along with flooring, carpeting and curtains
* Planters at the entrance, hanging baskets and picnic tables
* Painting, decorating and pictures for the walls
* TV screens and a stand and a projector and screen
* Upgrade to the buggy / bin store
* Junior coaching equipment
Half the money raised has gone out to 50/50 club members as prizes. Over £40,000 in the last 15 years.
Members of the 50/50 club have a say in how funds are spent.
MONTHLY DRAW
Dave Erskine and Nick Simpson have been appointed to do the administration and make the monthly draw and this is currently planned to take place in the clubhouse on the last Friday of each month.
The 6 monthly BONUS DRAW will be done to coincide with opening day and closing day competitions at the end of March and October.
Monthly winners will be advised individually by Email and their names posted on the 50/50 noticeboards located in the Ladies & Gents Locker rooms and main lounge W.C.’s
Winners names will also appear on this 50/50 page of Aberdour Golf Club website and other social media. Members may opt out of their names appearing in the online / social media notification of monthly winners.
